Boarding

I offer pet boarding and grooming at a different location in Nelson County. Mountain View Pet Retreat is located 20 minutes away in Shipman, VA.

Mountain View Pet Retreat is now open for business but still under some construction. Grooming services are available before time of departure of your pet, upon your request, by Sheila's Pet Grooming for an additional fee. All of our boarding areas are three and a half feet wide, and vary in length, five to seven feet. All runs are located indoors with heating and airconditioning. We exercising the dogs a minimum of three times daily in a fenced in area. We also have a separate cat corner. Bedding and food are provided for all pets. If your pet has a special diet, we require that the special diet food or can food be provided by the owner. Feel free to bring any special blanket or toy to remind your pet of home. All animals must be up to date on all vaccinations, and an emergency telephone number must be provided in case of any problems.
